When does the Biglaw ship sail?
How much longer do callbacks/offers keep coming out? I've heard some people still getting offers this week. But when is the cycle pretty much over and the summer classes full. Particularly interested in the LA market.

Paul Hastings LA is still looking.Anonymous User wrote:How much longer do callbacks/offers keep coming out? I've heard some people still getting offers this week. But when is the cycle pretty much over and the summer classes full. Particularly interested in the LA market.
Other than that, I can tell you I know a few people at my school are still waiting to hear from firms, and a few (very few) have impending callbacks coming up (these are mostly for niche practice areas that require hard science degrees or relevant work experience).

Not only is this not funny, its pretty insensitive for someone who was bragging in earlier threads about having a job.ditch digger wrote:When you score below a 175 on the LSAT

That's amazing congrats! I've been mass mailing and following up, hopefully that'll lead to something.Anonymous User wrote:not yet. received a mass mail cb today for next week. received another one last friday. i thought i was down for the count, bu tnow I have 3 CBs next week. id say massmailing before Oct 1st is fair game.
Also waiting to hear back from a couple callbacks, but not holding my breath

Re: When does the Biglaw ship sail?
I posted a mass mail how-to in the stickied thread that might help. Firms are still giving out callbacks in NY.

Re: When does the Biglaw ship sail?
Yeah I had one CB last week through a school resume collect and one this week through mass mailing, have one on the books for next week through mass mailing, and have three more in the pipeline. All NYC, all V100.
They may be shouting "all aboard!" but the ship hasn't pushed off just yet.

Not funny, anon abuse double whammy. I had similar results--two offers in early October.Anonymous User wrote:YOU HAVE A TIME MACHINE??!Hutz_and_Goodman wrote:I received three offers in the second week of October (1 NYC, 2 secondary market)

Not yet. Thought it was done for me but then today I received a V50 NY callback through mass-mailing and a DC callback for a firm I had interviewed with back at OCI.
