Your grades are poor and your school is week. Better get good at sucking some cock or hope they don't know you are only top 25%.

It's really just about seeming like you want to work and seeming like a good dood. But I'm not an expert (or probably even good at) interviewing.

I'd be such a better speller if homonyms weren't a thing.

My bad, dude. I was poking fun at DF, not you. Low debt is nothing to scoff at, and I am feeling that shit now.

No one can tell you how to do your callback interview. Your initial failure to secure one can't be necessarily attributed to your personality because your credentials are weak and probably explain that. At this point, whether or not they will be a factor is out of your control. All you can do is put your best foot forward and hope for the best, while continuing to explore other options. Key is to not act desperately.

I'd search the forum for callback advice, etc. for specific pointers. There may even be some shit stickied.

I'm not sure I'd trust anything TLS says about interviewing. Tons of people think they are interviewing experts because either 1) they do like 5 CB interviews a year for their firm or 2) they got V5 with top 5% from a t14.

I'd do as many mock interviews as possible.

Yeah, but short of that and mock interviews (which are also of limited utility), what else can OP really do?

Be a chill, sociable, intelligent bro(ette)? If the partners like you, think you're competent, and that you wont bitch the first time you're asked to work all weekend. Well then you've got better than a 50/50 shot.
