Trade finance
I have the opportunity to join a small group at a large firm (small team in the office, larger group globally) that does trade finance and commodities work in a large non New York market. My thought process was that specializing early and being in a small group would be good for early development and long term job security. The work sounds pretty cool but I don't really know too much about what transactional trade finance entails. Any light shed on that area of the law would be great. Should I start my career wider in general corporate work or is this a good idea? Any input is welcome at this point. Thanks!
