BigLaw SA-bound 2L. School offers opportunity to get joint LLM abroad.
I'm not looking to practice law in the country I would get the LLM. Really, I think it would be cool to live abroad for a year or so. The specialization of the LLM is cool too.
Not worth it?

Re: JD/LLM and Effect on Employment
Worth it for the shits and giggles if your SA firm gives you an offer and is willing to wait a year for you to start + the extra year costs you almost nothing. No doubt it would be fun to live abroad before your professional career begins.
But if your question is whether it would significantly improve your professional prospects in the future, I have a hard time imagining how.
