Goodwin Procter SV

Considering Goodwin in SV. I want to do start-up/VC work, and I know they're strong in Boston, but not sure what their rep is in the Valley. How do other firms and clients view Goodwin's SV office?

SV associate in VC/startup law here--

Goodwin Procter was one of the only non-indigenous firms (and also one of the non-Cooley/Fenwick/Gunderson/WSGR firms) that has made inroads into the SV venture capital and start up law scene. They're still not quite there, but they have a great practice.

You will work very hard there, though. Also, I've heard it's quite difficult to do only VC/startup work there, if thats your goal.
