Offer from transactional firm, but zero finance knowledge.

Post by Anonymous User » Sun Sep 14, 2014 12:58 am

I was kind of thinking I'd do litigation before OCI. But now it looks like my only offer is going to be from a V30 satellite that only does transactional stuff. I don't know the first thing about finance or anything related to it, but it's looking like I'm going to accept.

Can I learn this stuff in law school? What should I do before next summer?

Cramming all the transactional classes you can into your spring term seems like a logical place to start.

You're in the same position as most law students that go transactional, you have nothing to worry about. Congrats on the job.
