What kind of paper for my resume?
The eternal question that I'm sure has never been asked before. When bringing materials to interviews, what kind of printer paper do you use?
Money is no object here. I could easily afford to buy all of the custom thick shit. The question is does it make me look like an asshole? Assume for a moment that there are no other signs.

Used plain old paper. Got offers at 7 of the V10's.
I actually had this conversation casually with a few of the interviewers. Most people said they were indifferent (I reckon some of those people actually preferred resume paper, but didn't want to say so). Some people said they actively found it douchey. No one said it would make an ultimate difference either way.
My recommendation: If you're beating yourself up over it, go with resume paper. No one will think you're super douchey, and you'll clearly have back-of-mind regrets otherwise. But if you don't have resume paper, don't sweat it.
Also of note: Of the people I know who printed off copies with resume paper for OCI, the average person gave away 0. Firms have them pre-printed on normal paper and rarely ask for a new one.

I would assume if they had. A type a paper called. "Resume paper." You would just use that.
And not make yet another topic about it.

I'm going to create a new keyboard called a TLS keyboard for you just so that you feel the need to buy it uncritically and use it instead of your normal keyboard when posting on TLS.
But yeah, use it or not. If you're ever gonna use it, now's the time. And you get to feel fancy.

Re: What kind of paper for my resume?
Honestly, it is hard to imagine anything that matters as little to your prospects of getting a job as the type of paper on which your resume is printed. As an interviewer, I already have your resume. I will only take a new copy from you if it is an updated resume and therefore different from what I already have. If I take an updated resume from you, I will give it to our recruiting people who will scan it into our system. Everyone else who sees it thereafter will either see it on line or print out a copy of the scanned resume on plain paper. People should stop obsessing about this.

Regular paper is easier to crumple and toss into the garbage, so use that.
