I am currently an entry-level attorney in a boutique law firm in DC. The firm has major clients, like those that a big law firm would have.
I was wondering if I stayed with the firm for a year what my exit options would be and if I could lateral to a larger firm?
The major problem that I have with the firm is that the practice area is rather limited (which is how they have major clients) and I would like to be part of a more diverse practice group and work at a firm with more resources. My grades are decent and I went to a top 20 law school.
