book of business
im a midlevel associate at a V100 with a ppp in the $1mm range. my book of business consisting of clients who would leave with me if i moved to another firm is in the $100,000 to $150,000 range. given the facts above, how big of a book would I need to almost certainly guarantee I never get laid off? how big if i want to make partner, but am solid (but not amazing) at the hard legal skills/substance?
