McGuireWoods (Chicago)

I was hoping to get people's thoughts on mcguirewoods Chicago office. I want to work in their corporate group and wanted to know if anyone had experience with or is familiar with their corporate practice in Chicago (outside of healthcare group). How does it compare against some of the other Chicago firms? What do the exit opps look like? Any insight would be much appreciated, thanks!

Were nice enough during OCI - though pay below market (which speaks to your question above). Still have questions about the relationship of their Chicago office to their VA headquarters.

That's definitely what I am trying to figure out as well. Wondering how much of the dealflow/clients are coming from Chicago itself or more just spillover from VA HQ or Charlotte office.
