Cadwalader (Charlotte) CB -----> Offer
Anybody else go to that crazy weekend CB? Supposedly 40 (~20 at the weekend one and ~ 20 on weekdays before and after) people were called back for 5 spots.
Let's see if any of us get an offer.
ETA: Vandy here

Yeah but they're going to have to give out more offers than that. Not sure I can post my school without outing myself.

How does it make financial sense for them to call back so many people? They must be dropping $50,000 on recruiting. I don't get it.

I didn't count people but it didn't seem like 20 were there. Did they seriously callback 40 people?

Re: Cadwalader (Charlotte) CB -----> Offer
I wouldn't be surprised if they have out at least ten offers because they're unlikely to have a super high yield. That's 25%, which, while not high by any measure, still isn't that crazy.

Re: Cadwalader (Charlotte) CB -----> Offer
FWIW, Cadwalader Charlotte will only give out 5 offers at a time and then will not give out any more offers until those people have made their decision to accept/decline.
I'm not sure why Cadwalader Charlotte would have a low yield, $160k in Charlotte is a pretty sweet deal.

Re: Cadwalader (Charlotte) CB -----> Offer
I heard one say early to mid-September at the soonest so they can accommodate all the other people coming in for weekday CB's after the weekend one. She implied it wasn't rolling.Anonymous User wrote:did any of the recruiters mention how soon offers might go out?

Anyone know what their historical offer rate is? Looks like they offered 3 out of 3 this summer, but what about before then?

So I guess it is safe to assume all the offers went out on Tuesday? Anyone else hear anything?

the offer rate has always been 100%, except for maybe one summer like 12 years ago. FYI, it was 5/5 this summer.

160 in Charlotte is nice, but there are some pretty clear drawbacks to the job as well.Anonymous User wrote:FWIW, Cadwalader Charlotte will only give out 5 offers at a time and then will not give out any more offers until those people have made their decision to accept/decline.
I'm not sure why Cadwalader Charlotte would have a low yield, $160k in Charlotte is a pretty sweet deal.

FWIW, 160k in Charlotte is equivalent to $371,982 in Manhattan.

Is this really the case? If it is, they're moving to the top of my list. I thought southern firms, and especially those with small SA classes, love to no offer people.Anonymous User wrote:the offer rate has always been 100%, except for maybe one summer like 12 years ago. Cadwalader is not a "southern firm" at all. It is a New York firm with an office in the south. Cadwalader Charlotte and DC will always give 100% offers. Being no-offered here is a complete non-issue.
