Had cb at a Chicago firm on Tuesday, haven't heard. Friend who interviewed same day got offer Friday. Am I already rejected or tweaking out early?

Straight from a senior partner on recruiting committee: some offers are given more quickly for clearly strong candidates, even up to offering later cbs before earlier ones. Committee may table a candidate, push one lower in the queue, not reach some on a particular meeting, etc. Dont bug until you get the ding.

like above poster said, stronger candidates get offers faster but they may not always take it
