CB on Tuesday. Offer today. Loved the people I met there. Seem very down to Earth.

Had my CB yesterday (Thursday) and was told the hiring committee meets on Tuesdays and to expect a decision shortly thereafter.

Agree with anon above. Everyone was super chill and said the firm actually allows you to have a life outside of work.

Also what was the format of everyone's CBs? How many interviewers?

NYC.

Format was standard 30 minute interviews with two associates and the hiring partner. They also put you in a room with all the other interviewees for that day to start out with. Maybe as a test of your sociability?

I don't know about test of sociability, I think the purpose was to have a single place for the interviewers to pick up the interviewees.We were in there for less than 5 minutes before the interviewers began picking us up. Maybe it was different for your group

So they interviewed you on Tuesday, decided to offer you on Tuesday, and then sat on calling you until Friday? Can anyone else confirm this Tuesday hiring committee meeting thing? The timing doesn't quite add up.

I got an email saying they were still trying to figure things out about 1.5 weeks ago. I had my callback 3 weeks ago.

Email ding today from a NYC callback a week and a half ago. Silence might actually be a good thing, in your case.
