Assume general corporate interests but no real thought within that. Presumably you would have to REALLY REALLY want to be in dc?

Yes. No offense to Dechert, but it is not a big player in DC by any stretch, and definitely not for corporate. Ropes, on the other hand, is preeminent in Boston.Anonymous User wrote:Assume general corporate interests but no real thought within that. Presumably you would have to REALLY REALLY want to be in dc?

Also, if the main target is DC, Ropes has a DC office. I would imagine you could start in Boston then try to transfer; look at the GO program: http://www.ropesgray.com/firm/A-Global-Opportunity.aspx

Yeah, I'll have better DC options. Just pretty sure I'm going to withdraw from Dechert as that seems tough to justify.mommalee wrote:Also, if the main target is DC, Ropes has a DC office.
