I've read conflicting accounts of what Skadden's work-assignment system looks like for summers (some say it's free market, others that it's more a hybrid free-market/rotational). Any current/former summers care to chime in?
Thanks.

This. But as someone who worked in a non ny office, work coordinators handle the assignments. You go to them and they give you work. Sometimes they will seek you out and set you up with assignments. As you get more comfortable during the summer you can seek out different partners and get work directly from them.Desert Fox wrote:For summer who the fuck cares.
