How to travel w/ travelling agent

Post by Anonymous User » Mon Aug 18, 2014 2:49 pm

I know this may be a stupid question, but how do you travel for a cb when the firm's travelling agent sends you confirmation but no actual tickets? Do you just check in in person and show the airline your itinierary? Or can you check in online? Thanks!

As long as you have your confirmation number, you can self check-in and print your boarding passes at the airport.

Is your flight with American or United? Sign up for the AAdvantage program / equivalent before you leave so you can rack up those miles.

You don't even need the confirmation #. Just swipe a credit card.

Are you under the assumption that the firm also sent him a firm credit card before his callback?

when you check into flights at an airport kiosk, you can swipe a credit card (any credit card) solely for identification purposes

Doesn't matter who booked it. It's just looking for the name on the reservation.

I think most computers let you look it up by last name, and it's normally much faster to use the computer. The people who don't know how to use the computers, and wait on line instead tend to be much slower so what could take 2 minutes can take a half hour by not using the computer self-check in.
