I bid heavy a market I have no ties to (think Dallas, Houston, etc). Am I likely to face skepticism over my ties at callbacks? Or does having made it past screening mean I've essentially been vetted as to my desire to be in the city?
FWIW, I am at DCNG around top 15% on law review.

You should expect skepticism at every stage.
