Callback stage: skepticism about ties?

Post by Anonymous User » Sat Aug 16, 2014 10:28 am

I bid heavy a market I have no ties to (think Dallas, Houston, etc). Am I likely to face skepticism over my ties at callbacks? Or does having made it past screening mean I've essentially been vetted as to my desire to be in the city?

FWIW, I am at DCNG around top 15% on law review.

my guess is that there still will be skepticism especially if nothing on your resume would lead somebody to believe you are interested in Houston/Dallas

You should expect skepticism at every stage.
