Random question:
Im filling out the application for the DOJ HP and have to select various professional accomplishments. What I am hung up on is the option to select "significant experience in non-legal public speaking club/group" and "compensated speech writing"--during college I was paid to speak on behalf of the school at orientations/sent to speak to administrators from other schools about the school's ethics policies. Although i was paid to write and give speeches, Im not sure whether its a stretch to select either option as I wasnt giving super important speeches.

Re: DOJ Honors Question
if you can make a plausible case for why you selected these options when asked, go for it. just ask yourself if you would roll your eyes if some law student made the same case to you.
