Mass mail after starting fall internship?

Hi. First time writing on TLS here. Thanks for all the other advice on the forum!

I have been mass mailing, but I am thinking about pausing until I start my fall internship so that I can send an updated resume and cover letter.
That would be the first week of September.
The fall internship is with a gov't agency which I think would definitely add to my current resume.

Do you think it's worth sending out apps later for this?

Put it on now, and keep mass mailing.

Yea, take flawschoolkid's advice - put it on your resume now and keep on sending

Not only keep sending, but use it as an excuse to update those you've already sent (assuming at least a week or two has passed).
