Purpose of writing sample in a screener
A few of the firms I'm interviewing with at OCI ask for a writing sample. Is the purpose of that to walk through the argument in the screener itself, or is it probably something they want to take a look at later when they're deciding whether to call people back?

i made a HUGE mistake of not looking over my writing sample before my interviews, and a firm asked about that during the screening. I stumbled bad, so I'd be prepared just in case.
