Hey all,
Had in-person screening interview with a partner of an IP firm last week for law clerk/technical specialist position. I thought the interview went very well. Partner even mentioned that I was someone he would endorse to enter formal recruitment/interview process ten minutes into the interview. The rest was a casual conversation about law school, patent prosecution and details about the firm. He even offered to connect me with some in-house folks he knew at a major tech company if I didn't receive an offer from the firm.
My interview was almost a week ago and I still haven't received an update from HR to move forward with recruitment. Is this a bad sign? Do firms usually take a while to schedule on-site interviews after screening?
On another note, since this isn't for a SA, is it possible that they are waiting for OCI to finish so that they can interview me along with the rest of the SA applicants even though I'm not interviewing for the same position?
