How Late is Too Late to Schedule Callbacks?
Top 10% at DCNG. Offer already in hand. Want to maximize opportunities but with class and weddings it will be tough to schedule more than 2 or 3 callbacks during the last week of August. Is it okay to schedule callbacks throughout September or should I skip out on all of these summer weddings and maximize my opportunities? Thanks.

If it were me I would skip class and make some cuts to weddings depending on the friend. But you sound like you can be a little more choosy. Guess it depends on how much you like your 1L firm. I think early callback advantage is a thing though.

1) LOL at class. Dood, who cares. A)class doesn't matter you got on offer baby. B) one week of class doesn't matter towards grades anyway.Mal Reynolds wrote:If it were me I would skip class and make some cuts to weddings depending on the friend. 2) What kind of cheap ass has a wedding during the week?
3) Early callback is somewhat of an advantage but it's not all that huge. Especially if it's not NYC. Before labor day is fine.
4) Since you already have an offer in hand, why are you going to be so busy doing callbacks. Do you really have so many other firms you'd take over the one you have?
