Interviewing at new firm don't want it to impact current one

Post by Anonymous User » Sun Aug 03, 2014 9:52 pm

I am currently a 3L that is a clerk at one firm. I will be interviewing at another firm (2nd interview) and I would not like them to contact my current firm since I still need to job to pay bills and tuition. The firm I working at keeps stating that they plan to make me am offer but I don't want to put my eggs all in one basket and be left with nothing. How (if I can say this) should I tell the new firm I am interviewing at not to reach out to my old firm?
