I'm currently in Harvard Business School's HBX CORe online class and curious if anyone has had experience with such programs on their resume. I have it listed on there with the expected date of completion. I'm going into some interviews with firms, starting tomorrow so I assume this will be a topic of discussion.
Has anyone put similar programs on their resume? I'm not talking ITT Tech or University of Phoenix here. Maybe EdX or the like, and if so, what, if anything, was the response from interviewers?
I have it listed on their as:
Harvard Business School
HBX Credential of Readiness (CORe)
Expected Completion August 2014

From my earlier understanding it was only for family of Alumni but they may have expanded it now.Desert Fox wrote:wow I'm surprised HBS is willing to whore itself out like that.

Wait, is restricting it to family of Alumni more or less whorish? Pretty sure it's more.Anonymous User wrote:From my earlier understanding it was only for family of Alumni but they may have expanded it now.Desert Fox wrote:wow I'm surprised HBS is willing to whore itself out like that.

Re: HBX Certificate on Resume?
Keep in mind that only ~5% of those people who register for classes via EdX actually earn the certificate. As such, you may want to hold off until it is in the bag before adding a reference on your resume.
