Symplicity question
Have to ask this because my school has done a horrendous job with instructions for Symplicity.
Finals bids were submitted friday, and the bidding window closed. "Pre-select sign up" starts the 24th. Do we find out what firms have selected us prior to the pre-select sign up time period, so that we can try to play our schedules a little early before the mad rush on sign up day? Or am I completely misunderstanding this process. Thanks.

Why don't you google when your school releases OCI schedules?Anonymous User wrote:Have to ask this because my school has done a horrendous job with instructions for Symplicity.

And if your school is like mine, "pre-select sign-up" day is the day you find out what firms want to interview you and schedule the times.

Re: Symplicity question
If you're LUCKY they post interviews the same time preselect signup starts; everytime I've done it it's taken at least another day for all of the invites to post. Preselect signup is when the interview column appears on symplicity, and a lot of times it will just say "pending" at that time. However, word of advice, once this happens you should be able sort by "with invitations" if invites aren't actually showing yet, and it will show show you all the firms you will get interviews or alternates with and you can use that to plan a bit.
