EE/CS degree

Litigation leads to litigation... or potentially prosecution if you get out early enough.

Yea, but what do smaller lit firms pay Patent Lit people and how much risk is there that I'll be permafucked and have to start doc reviewing for a living or something.

If it really came to that, wouldn't you just go into programming? Even if you are a shitty programmer you will make more money than doc review. You can do like Software Testing BS for high 5-figures pretty easily.
