Chances of success with mass mailing/applying online at TTT Forum

Hi all,

I am at a TTT with a 3.75, top 5%, law review, and moot court. I am waiting to hear back what firms I will be interviewing with for OCI but wanted to know what are the chances of getting biglaw interviews through mass mailing and applying online, anyone have a similar experience to share?

You are in an ok position, but there are things you can do to maximize your success. Try to schedule phone informational interviews with people who are alums from your undergrad or your law school in the firms. Ask them intelligent questions about what they do and how they got there, and often this will get your resume moved out of the massive pile into a slightly less massive pile.

I had worse grades and no moot court, mailed about 25 NALP firms, and got two interviews.
