Resume Help - 3L OCI
I just got tentatively accepted for publication in a peer reviewed journal (not at my school). It's conditioned on some minor changes, which I will have completed in time to be published in the Fall 2014 edition, but not before the 3L OCI bid deadline.
How do I put this in my resume?

Your Name, "Article," Journal, forthcoming Fall 2014.
(Where this is a properly Bluebooked cite, I just don't remember how to cite articles.)

It's my resume, do I need to state my name again?A. Nony Mouse wrote:Your Name, "Article," Journal, forthcoming Fall 2014.

Also, is it wrong to state:
"Article", Journal, a peer reviewed publication, forthcoming Fall 2014
I just want to emphasize that it isn't the local secondary journal, and that it's peer reviewed

Re: Resume Help - 3L OCI
Is there anything I should say to indicate it is a tentative acceptance? while I'm sure I can make the requested changes in time, I don't want this to come back and haunt me if for some reason it doesn't happen.
The feedback I received is that some of the paragraphs should be fleshed out a bit more, and that the conclusion needs to be a bit more in-depth. These should be relatively minor alterations, but still, I feel I should hedge my resume just in case.

You're right about the name, sorry about that.Anonymous User wrote:It's my resume, do I need to state my name again?A. Nony Mouse wrote:Your Name, "Article," Journal, forthcoming Fall 2014.

I agree with jchance on (peer-reviewed), or on putting "peer-reviewed publications" as the heading (if you have other publications that aren't peer-reviewed, though, that would need another heading, that's going to be too cluttery).
If it's been accepted in that they said, "Yes, we'll publish it! Here are some changes to make for the final version," you can write "forthcoming." If something happens to screw that up, then you just take it off your resume - these things happen. If the journal has said "eh, not as is, but if you make these changes we'll consider it again," then it's a revise-and-resubmit (I don't think those are super common in law, but then, peer-review isn't super common in law, either, so I don't know what this journal is like). If the latter, you could list it as "Article (submitted to Journal for publication in Fall 2014)," but it's a little weasel-y to list things that you've submitted and haven't been accepted yet (people in academia do this to show they have an active research agenda and that they have stuff in the submission stage, but it's mostly when they're trying to fill out a c.v.).

The exact wording I received is:
I could be wrong, but, it seems to me like it's the former, rather than the latter. If you are amenable to fleshing out the tail end of your article and solidifying your conclusion, I would be glad to offer you publication.
