Proskauer Rose NJ
is the Newark office less selective? All the bids I see on here seem to be for the NYC office so I was wondering what the general consensus on the NJ office was

Also, Proskauer Newark is entirely focused on employment law, so it could just be that people who aren't interested in that are self-selecting out.

As far as I know, they only do labor and employment law from that office. I think it's less selective than their NYC office.

3.4 probably too low unless you're law review with other good credentials.
Their classes are small and their hiring slow, as it is a small office. Had one friend from my class at Rutgers Law, Newark go there, and he was L. Rev. + what I anticipate were very good grades.

Actually the opposite. Their labor and elisa group is one of the best. The NJ office is most likely more selective, given small class and its niche but highly regarded groupexitoptions wrote:Edit: Scooped.

I probably allowed my dislike for labor law to cloud my perception of selectivity. My point was really more directed to the fact that unless you want labor law and you know now that is all you ever want to do, you shouldn't bother with the NWK office.Anonymous User wrote:Actually the opposite.
