I know this question has been asked to death but here we go: rising 3l I have a pretty shitty gpa sitting right below a 3.0. I had one semester where I completely fucked up and that ruined for me... I landed a clerckship at a boutique corporate firm, my boss is helping me prep 3l oci applications and items for mass mailing. He suggested that either I leave my gpa off my resume completely or have two gpas one showing my cumulative gpa and one showing what my gpa would be if you removed that one semester?
any thoughts on if I should follow his advice on this or not? doesn't seem to be something mentioned much

Re: GPA on Resume?
They are going to ask for it eventually or, alternatively, they'll ask for your transcript. I say just put it on there. No point in delaying the inevitable.

Just put it on there. If not, you're like that annoying person who lists something for sale but refuses to put a price on it. It's going to be noticeable that you avoided it, and you don't want to be that guy.

List it because then you know that if you get called for an interview, it won't be a sudden explosion that kills the interview when you say your GPA.
