I'm interning for a federal magistrate judge in a major market (one of S.D.N.Y., E.D.N.Y., D.D.C., N.D.Ill., D.Ma, C.D.Ca.). When I was researching judicial internships, there was a lot of hesitation about applying to/working for a federal magistrate judge. If anyone has any questions about what it's like to intern for a magistrate judge, feel free to ask.
