If a partner asks me to find new case law addressing a topic, what format should it be? I'm guessing a memo?
I have no idea how to proceed........... (i've already found cases. Unsure how to write)

If he gave you no facts to apply to it, just write a memo summarizing the cases.Anonymous User wrote:If a partner asks me to find new case law addressing a topic, what format should it be? I'm guessing a memo?

Is this a full on brief or something? He didn't mention it as a brief though....

It's not a brief, it's a memo. A brief would be something submitted to the court. This is probably just for their information.Anonymous User wrote:OP here

If you are confused ask like rad said. But you probably just gotta write about how these cases would affect your case.
