RA position in cover letter
In a cover letter, how do I mention that I'll be a research assistant this summer? Like, do I mention the name of the prof?

"This summer, I will be working as an assistant to Professor Boomer McOutoftouch. I will be researching issues related X, Y, and Z, as well as assisting Professor Boomer with writing a scholarly article on the topic that no one will read."
