Time to Coordinate Callback

Post by Anonymous User » Fri May 16, 2014 4:51 pm

Received an email from a V100 firm asking if I was available for a callback. Replied back with my availability several days ago but did not get a reply with a confirmation for the time/date. What is a normal timeframe for this?

Thanks.

I'd wait two or three days after your last communication since things are busy, and then call the firm's recruiting office to talk to someone in person and schedule something on the phone. Sometimes these things slip through the cracks, and it doesn't reflect on the firm's interest or lack thereof.

thanks, so 2-3 days would be an average response time?

My callback took about 48 hrs to schedule. Remember they need to confirm availability for the 6 - 7 lawyers who you will be meeting during the callback so it takes a bit more time to coordinate. If it takes longer than 3 biz days then I'd shoot them a quick follow up to make sure you should continue to keep your list of available days free. Good luck!!
