What's "nationwide" mean?

Ex: Include WLRK and Cravath, even tho they only have NYC offices in the US?

Miserable sweatshops. They are probably really shitty places to work.

Is it odd that whenever I imagine working at a top NYC firm I imagine Chinese gold farmers in World of Warcraft?

Considering their entire practice. So those two are clear leaders because their NYC offices are so prestiguous.

I'm pretty sure there are lists for this. Vault. AmLaw. etc. No need to poll TLS rubes when there are experts that compile these things.

Rankings only get you so far...you need to decide what you want--what practice, what geography, what salary (if not market), exit opps, whether associates are pooled or work in groups, whether you are a generalist or hired directly into a practice area....those criteria matter a lot more.

Places I thought I would kill to work at as a 0L.

Places that I wouldn't work at now for double market.

I thought DLA Piper was first in the "most warm bodies" category, but they're apparently second to baker and mckenzie. Does this get a spot in the T20?

I did. I'm assuming it's one partner and one associate playing backgammon in a vacuum closet waiting to route lost calls from the hong kong office.
