What are the exit options for V10 banking/finance?
I read from the other thread that non M&A corporate options tend to be more specialized. Any idea what a mid-level banking/Finance Attorney from a Chambers Band 1 group has a shot exiting to? Other than credit agreements at other firms. Thanks all! Edit: market is nyc.

There are lots of different directions you could go, but that's not the same as saying there are lots of exit options. I know people who have gone in all directions in the corporate world, both legal and non-legal, but none of it was standardized, it was just a matter of the right opportunity coming along at the right time and the attorney jumping at it.Anonymous User wrote:I read from the other thread that non M&A corporate options tend to be more specialized. Interested in this thread as well. Doing mostly capital markets and finance work now, with some M&A mixed in, considering options down the line and preferably would move into M&A work. Anyone with anecdotes about a successful shift like this (banking/finance corporate work--M&A)? considering going to Bschool and would be interested to hear people's experiences moving between practices/corporate fields. thanks.
