Hey Everyone-
I am a 2L at CCN and I will be going to work in DC in the fall -- but Im not sure which agency, dept, etc yet. Apart from SEC, Fed, and Treasury, any recommendations? I am looking for an organization that would be especially helpful for a career in corporate/transactional law. Not really interested in banking regulation, partly because my firm (Cravath) doesnt do much and partly because I took the class and hated it!
Is there anything Im missing or not thinking about? SEC department of corporate finance and department of trading and markets are at the top of my list right now. Any reason why they shouldnt be?
ETA: like an idiot, I havent taken securities reg yet. So Im a bit hesitant about SEC stuff. But I do have a M&A and finance background.
