Taking NJ bar while working NYC biglaw
For some personal reasons I can't discuss I am unable to take the NJ bar exam this summer (trust me, I've tried really hard to make it happen right now but can't). If in the future I decide to take it while working in biglaw, how tough/impossible is it? More importantly, will NJ biglaw firms give me time off or hire me as a lateral knowing that I will take the NJ bar next time it's available? What about NJ AG's office? Will a defeat a job application there if they know they have to wait for me to get barred in that state. Thanks in advance.
