Boston BigLaw Market Improving for 2L Hiring

Post by colonelnerd » Fri Mar 14, 2014 10:34 am

The following information comes directly from the executive partner and hiring manager at one of the top 10 Boston firms. They claimed that summer classes for the summer of 2014 are about 5-8% larger than last year, and they expect that growth trend to continue into the future. The hiring manager also said that he has heard roughly the same thing from his peers at other large Boston firms.

I'm a 1L at BU/BC; these guys came into my school for a presentation and I thought I'd share the good news with all you fine people on TLS.

this maybe but it sure seemed a lot harder than other markets from UVA. This is judging by my own and others experiences, all of whom had ties.

Revise thread title to "Boston BigLaw Market Improving for 2L Hiring," as that is not really that correlative with the health of the market as a whole.
