Hey there,
I'm getting ready to join one of the big NYC firms, and I'm wondering if anyone knows if very many firms will reimburse the cost of a searching-for-housing visit. I seem to remember reading about that benefit on Lateral Link's old firm profiles, but that may be a pre-2008 perk. Are any firms doing that now? (If very many are, I might ask my firm if that can be covered as part of my moving expenses, or something like that.) Thanks.

My firm doesn't reimburse the travel costs for housing visits, but they do reimburse broker fees.

My V-10 covered tickets and a couple days at a hotel (I don't remember how many because I didn't use it) for a housing search as part of the moving expenses reimbursement.
