Background check question

Post by Anonymous User » Wed Mar 05, 2014 1:07 pm

Currently applying for a job with a fairly extensive background check (PD/prosecution). I've already been offered the position, barring any problems with this or a drug test. My understanding is that it takes a felonies or "crimes of moral turpitude" for an auto-ding. I did some dumb shit in my life, no way around that, mostly alcohol stuff when I was younger, a long stretch of no issues, and a bit more recently (2012) a disorderly conduct that was knocked down to a noise ordinance charge, which I feel like a fucking idiot about every day.

Question on this app asks about "crimes that have not been expunged", which I assume the most recent falls into. My question is, does anyone know of a way I can get a free/low cost background check on myself? I just want to get all the details right, and going to these different courts is a real pain in the ass.

if you're looking for specific details, i dont think a background check will reveal all of that. I had one ran for fun and it didnt even come back with one of my arrests even though i was fingerprinted. I know courts are a pain in the ass to deal with, but i think they are the best way to get all of the info.
