Just wanted to start a thread to check in with those of us applying for a 1L internship this summer with USAO offices.
If you've been invited to interview, have accepted an offer to a particular office, or know anything about hiring timelines, please post here!

To get this started, one of the USAOs I applied to USAO SDNY (first choice) and haven't heard anything back yet. Has anyone been interviewed, have an interview date, or accepted an offer yet?

had an interview a week and a half ago with a southern state office, havent heard jack. anybody know how long they take to get back to you?

Applied to USAO CDCA Civil in early Jan, had interview/offer/acceptance in later Jan (offer was at end of interview), going through background checks now.

Accepted into USAO FLS Criminal Division, I had a phone interview with a panel of attorneys, then was offered within a week later.

I know people who have accepted offers for SDNY. ^ Yep, received an email letter from SDNY this past Friday saying they won't be taking me on this summer. I go to MVP and have NY ties for anyone interested. I'm happier it turned out this way bc already accepted the USAO SDF offer and don't want to have to decline interviews/offers to places.
