Verizon 1L Summer Internship Forum

Has anyone been interviewed/heard back yet? I have a phone interview tomorrow morning and I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me a little bit about what to expect question-wise, other than the canned job posting I can't find much information about it online.

Is this the interview with the outside recruiter? If so then it's very basic, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Oh, maybe, I didn't even realize it was with a recruiter! So then this is just to make sure I'm normal for a call-back basically? It seems so late to be just starting this process..

To make sure that you're "normal" &qualified as well to avoid or, at the least, to minimize claims of favoritism and discrimination.

Has anyone actually gotten to the next stage yet? For an in-person interview, or CB? My phone interview was weeks ago

My initial phone interview was late January. In-person interview is late next week...was emailed about the second interview last week

My initial phone interview was late January. In-person interview is late next week...was emailed about the second interview last week

Phone Interview 2 weeks ago, waiting to hear on the CB, if any. May touch base with the recruiter b/c I am expecting a 1L summer clerk offer next week and want to see if they have interest or not.

And is the pay uniform throughout all offices?

I think it'll depend on the city. I'm looking at Chicago. I was told by the recruiter that my next interview, if offered one, would be with the head of the group w/in my target city.

I had a phone interview at the beginning of february...about 1 week after I initially sent in my application. This past Tuesday I had a in-person interview at the corporate offices with the head of the internship program.

-Irving, TX location...

The experience was pleasant overall...The legal assistant emailed me and scheduled me for an appointment with the head of the internship program. The attorney who interviewed me was very nice and asked questions which are to be expected in an interview, nothing crazy. She also told me that there would only be one intern in the TX office....Should hear back within a week either way!

Nothing since phone interview. I'm looking at Chicago. Just offered GC 1L internship position at Fortune 20 company so i may take that if i hear nothing from verizon in the near future.

I followed up with the recruiter i had an interview with and have heard nothing.
