Can someone clear this up for me?
If a firm lists its practice as intellectual property, what does that mean? How does that compare to patent litigation?
Also, is that the same as IP transactional?

Re: Intellectual Property law
It's an umbrella term. They might do it all (patent prosecution, patent litigation, trademarks, copyright), or they might practice "intellectual property", yet restrict themselves to either patents, trademarks, and/or copyright. In addition, some firms may only focus on certain types of patents, such as biomedical, electrical, computer, or other. Often times the firm will indicate what they specialize in with IP. Other times they will do it all.Anonymous User wrote:Can someone clear this up for me?
