Is it too late to ask for an office change? I didn't split my summer at the satellite office and got the offer for NYC. The satellite office is a pretty big office that hires a ton of summers and is located where my law school is.
Quite simply I met someone that I'd like to stay with. Life would be pretty nice if I could stay in the same city as them. I realize this isn't a very compelling reason to the firm, but it is to me, and I'd try to communicate that to them with more intensity than I would on a message board.
Anyone have any experience with this?

No experience w/ this, but I would probably ask someone from recruiting and see what they say.
