practice strengths of V10's
Although the V10's are strong in all areas (maybe with the exception of Wachtell), what are some areas in which one V10 is regarded as being better than all others (along the lines S&C for financial institutions, Wachtell for defense of hostile takeover target, Simpson for private equity).

Re: practice strengths of V10's
Practice group rankings can be incredibly subjective, so take them with a grain of salt. Also, limiting your inquiry to the V10 only makes sense if you're interested in corporate work in NYC. Is that what you're dead set on? There are lit boutiques that are a lot more prestigious and better than V10s for certain kinds of litigation.
