Transactional Government Summer Internships

Post by Anonymous User » Wed Nov 13, 2013 5:06 pm

I'm interesting in transactional law and I'm hoping to get a government internship this summer. Unfortunately from what I can tell the SEC, FTC, and CFTC aren't hiring in the area that I'm interested in working in.

Would working as a volunteer intern at the DOJ Antitrust Division provide good transactional work experience? If not, which gov't agencies should I be looking at?
