Philly DA
Got a call while I was at work to interview with Philly DA, haven't been able to return the call yet, does anyone know if they will skype or do it via phone for the first round. Out of State

I received a call on Tuesday, and I was told that I could interview via Skype. Any idea what to expect from the first interview?

Typical screener interview. They'll ask you why you wanna be a prosecutor, what attracts you to Philly, give you maybe one or two hypos at most.

I applied way back in August or something, and JUST had a screener last week (was invited the week before). The interview was pretty brief, and the ADA was pretty friendly. We pretty much just chatted about the office, his/her work and so forth. Compared to the DANY first round, I felt like it was a lot more casual.
The ADA I interviewed with said that they were planning on having panel interviews in two months or so, so I'm guessing they'll be doing them starting at the end of November through December. Something like that.

Thanks...yea I am hoping to hear this week but who knows. I applied to various NY DA's a few weeks back (and some last week) so I have not had any call backs on them either. Ill let you know when I get a Philly call back, thanks for the information man.
