Possible Interview - email or snail mail
Title says it all. Maybe a bit paranoid to post this, but times are tough. Top 15% at my state flag ship. Have a contact that may have set up the opportunity to receive an interview from a firm in my target city [in-state]. Directed me to send information to a partner there, rather than the hiring coordinator's office [several states away]. Worried if I snail mail, the my info may get lost, tossed out, etc.

Yes, someone told me it would look more "professional." I was surprised myself.hopkins23 wrote:I don't know why you would think snail mail. Did someone tell you that this was a good idea? Email unless told explicitly otherwise.

that's silly, especially given the time constraints (it being mid-September)Anonymous User wrote:Yes, someone told me it would look more "professional." Was this person, by chance, between the ages of 49 and 67? Have they applied for jobs in the last, oh, say, fifteen years?Anonymous User wrote:Yes, someone told me it would look more "professional." Email. It is vastly preferred by pretty much everyone.
