Post-CB request for writing samples

Post by Anonymous User » Tue Aug 27, 2013 3:36 pm

Firm recruiter sent me an email requesting that I send her a 'couple of writing samples I did for school' (post-CB). Is that an unusual request? What do you think it means?

this happened to me too, but i still haven't heard anything in about a week now. so i guess i wouldn't read too much into it. they probably just need to complete their file.

It probably means they are trying to decide between you and one or more other similarly qualified candidates.

I would have guessed that it was a check the box thing they forgot to ask you about before, but a request for more than one sounds like they actually intend to read them.

It means they want to maybe read your writing samples
